Rogelio is a trial lawyer and has been in litigation since he was admitted to the Bar in the year 2012. He started to work as a junior associate in a law firm in Manila where he was exposed and developed his skills in pleading making. A year after, he decided to join the government and cultivated his knowledge in local governance. At the same time, he was allowed to do litigation and continuously appeared at several courts. To date, Rogelio is still doing litigation for various individual clients, public officials, companies and corporations. He obtained his law degree from the University of San Carlos in the year 2012. In 2017, he co-founded the Gabucan Rapatan & Co. Law Office – GRANDLAW, with Atty. Neil Jerome Rapatan, his schoolmate in University of San Carlos.

Mr. Rapatan, a well-rounded attorney, is the Managing Partner of GRANDLAW. He first worked as a government lawyer at the Office of the Solicitor General where he honed his legal writing and appellate advocacy skills. He also worked as an Associate at the Chavez Miranda Aseoche Law Offices, the law firm of former Solicitor General Frank Chavez, where he handled criminal, civil, environmental and public-interest cases with the former SolGen. One of the cases Mr. Rapatan handled in the Supreme Court was Chavez vs. JBC, G.R. 202242, challenging the illegal composition of the Judicial and Bar Council. After years of litigation, Mr. Rapatan then joined a Manila-based group of companies operating in insurance, investments, realty and hospitality industries as its legal services manager and corporate secretary. His notable contributions to the group include the establishment of a credit and financing corporation, registration group’s trademarks with the Intellectual Property Office, and successful handling of the group’s cases at the Insurance Commission, National Labor Relations Commission, trial and appeallate courts.
Nearing his 10th year as an attorney, he co-founded the Gabucan Rapatan & Co. Law Offices – GRANDLAW, with his schoolmate at USC Law, Rogelio D. Gabucan, Jr. Mr. Rapatan supports civic activities, startups, MSMEs and innovation in business. He is the author of the book entitled Everyday Legal Forms for Home, Work and Business.

Rafael is a trial lawyer since 2010 and has been handling criminal, civil and labor cases. He is also exposed to corporate practice having represented Corporations and Associations in litigations. He was a solo practitioner before joining the firm. He received his law degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila.
